THE COLLEGE OF WOOSTER: Thursday, November 7, 2024, 4:00-6:00 p.m. Dottie will share her insights into attaining publication of her novel Where the Stars Cross. Andrews Library, 1189 Beall Ave., Wooster, Ohio
Presentation & Book Signing
The estimated percentage of novels written that get traditionally published (i.e., not self-published and not published by a paid publisher) is commonly thought to be in the single digits. Dottie Sines devoted years to the effort, resulting in her novel, Where the Stars Cross, recently being published.
On Thursday, November 7, the author will discuss her journey and share her insights: the surprising things she learned about the art of fiction writing, how to approach literary agents and publishers, and – something on which she now wearily considers herself an expert – what not to do!
Join Wooster’s own award-winning author for a conversation and book signing in the CoRE Cube inside Andrews Library on the College of Wooster campus. The presentation will begin at 4:00, followed by Q&A. Books will be available for purchase, and Dottie will be happy to sign copies following the presentation, at approximately 4:45. Guests are encouraged to arrive at any time 4:00-6:00 p.m. Light snacks will be served.
